This design was part of our first collection. With PFA Apparel originating as a car community brand, and from the requests for apparel from the car community, it made sense to design something based on something that was the start of the love for cars for many. With our founder being into anime and Initial D being the reason he fell in love with cars (and the 86), the design just made sense. The simplicity of the main character, the tofu shop, and 86 was all that was required to create the connection to the car community that we were looking to make.
